A note from Jessica, developer of California Baby: Whether its overcast, youre in the car, just had a facial peel, walking the dogyou need a sunscreen! Yet a light and sheer non-chemical sunscreen is hard to find. Many companies list their active ingredient as titanium or zinc oxide, but if you continue down the list, you may likely find chemical sunscreen ingredients, such as octyl methylcinnamate and oxybenzone. This blend is done to achieve a sheer finish—but it isnt truly non-chemical protection. I wear sunscreen everyday and LOVE this one because it makes protecting my skin easy. A side benefit is that it brightens my complexion. Dont forget about your hands, sun and liver spots are easier to prevent than correct!
Dermatologists and the American Cancer Society urge the use of sunscreen every day and year-round.
